CACUS is an energy-absorbing rope with a strap length of 1.50 m without connectors. The energy absorber is in a band that is 44mm wide to reduce the impact of a fall.

The CACUS energy absorber has a usage indicator that must be checked before each use. If the indicator reads "No OK" when performing a check, it means that the energy absorption is no longer working and must be replaced with a new one.
